Adamax 10mg is a 10mg vial of Adamax, a modified Semax peptide, supplied as freeze-dried powder. It’s intended for lab research only.
Adamax at a glance
Adamax is a modified form of Semax, the ACTH(4-10)-based peptide from the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow. The changes sit on the ends of the chain and are meant to protect it from the enzymes that break short peptides down.
Glacier stocks it in two versions, labeled by molecular weight: 984 and 1032 daltons. Adamax has no peer-reviewed research of its own yet, so the science on this page comes from its parent compound, Semax.
Adamax mechanism of action
The working part is Semax, which is built on ACTH(4-7) with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail. In rodent work Semax raises BDNF and its receptor TrkB in the hippocampus and changes the expression of genes tied to nerve growth.
The modifications don’t change that target. They’re there to slow breakdown by peptidases, which normally attack the free ends of a short chain first.

Published Adamax studies
There are no published studies on Adamax itself. The reference literature is the Semax work from Moscow, where Dolotov and colleagues reported that Semax raised BDNF and its receptor TrkB in rat hippocampus.
Semax is registered in Russia and used there as a nasal drop. Treat Adamax as a new compound and plan your controls with that in mind, ideally with plain Semax in the same study.

Adamax 10mg quality and handling
Peptira labels each Adamax 10mg vial with the compound and the amount. Labs that file batch documentation should ask our support team about the current batch before ordering.
Labs that check material in-house normally confirm identity with mass spectrometry, which checks the molecular weight, and measure purity with HPLC, which separates the main compound from anything else in the sample.
If you run a long study, try to order everything you need at once and log it when it arrives. It removes one variable from your results.
Reconstituting Adamax 10mg
The amount of liquid you add sets the concentration. For a vial holding 10mg:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 10mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/mL
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 3.33mg/mL
Go with whichever number is easiest to work with in your protocol, and label the vial with the concentration and the date you mixed it.
Use sterile bacteriostatic water, like our bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll the vial gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.
Adamax 10mg storage and shelf life
Store sealed vials of Adamax 10mg in the freezer at -20°C, out of direct light. Mixed solution goes in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and should be used within about 28 days.
Leave sealed vials sealed until you need them. Dry powder in a closed vial lasts far longer than solution, so there’s no reason to mix more than one at a time.
How many Adamax 10mg vials do you need?
Work out the total amount before you order. Add up what each arm of the study uses across every time point, then divide by 10mg. Round up by one vial so a spoiled sample or a repeat run doesn’t stall the project.
Mix one vial at a time and keep the rest sealed in the freezer. Dry powder keeps far longer than solution, so there’s no reason to reconstitute everything at the start.
Keep vials from one batch together in a study where you can. The batch number on the label ties each result back to the lab paperwork.
